Lend me your ears as I feel like I need to say something
And though it's not for me to defend my faith
Could you please focus on the many who come in peace
Not those few that breed fear, panic and hate
Do not allow these impostors to narrow your thoughts
As there will be less room for you to find
That this level of violence has nothing to do with religion
But rather a brainwashed and vulnerable mind
This is not the message the Messenger sent
This is a misinterpretation of the truth
That disgusts me and my sisters and brothers
Just as much as it disgusts each one of you
Lend me your eyes as I feel like I need to do something
And speak out even if you wont listen
Perhaps your mind has already been too polluted
By the terror on the walls of your minds prison
Take a moment to look at those bars that surround you
They are cast in steel made from anxious thoughts
You worry that you and yours might be next to suffer
So you will remain in that cell you were caught
This is not the message the Messenger sent
This is a misinterpretation of the truth
That disgusts me and my sisters and brothers
Just as much as it disgusts each one of you
Lend me your heart as I feel like I need to tell you something
Rather than listen to second hand words
Why don't you go to the source of your sleepless nights
And with a truly open mind read each verse
Then when you wake from your slumber come and tell me
If in its pages you find a reason to blame
Or if you're as repulsed as me, my sisters and brothers
That these people do these deeds in His name
This is not the message the Messenger sent
This is a misinterpretation of the truth
That disgusts me and my sisters and brothers
Just as much as it disgusts each one of you
And though it's not for me to defend my faith

Ever growing noise that numbs
Blaring beeping and marching feet
Minds go weak, coaxing men struck dumb

Time changes noise to melody
Leave your wit a rat long drowned
Let the strange become the edgy
Time changes noise to melody
Screams sear the soul, now sing to hearts

In your arms
I hope there will come a day when you don’t let me leave.
And not as as a ‘second round’ deal but you asked me to stay the night
The dream I had was set as such:
You kissed me goodnight and walked me to the car.
And just before you walked inside, you held your hand out
And asked me to stay.
I stayed, I stayed what felt like days.
We barely woke up to greet the morning
because your eyes were the most important sunrise.
I let you fill my cracks with gold so that I could see that my scars could still be beautiful
I welcomed you to pushing me down
Just so you could have

So true yet so sad but too many people can't even think of what's really important ... Beleives, religions are only one between so many other ways to be caged ! For me the only truth that remains when you think of it seriously is this : Every human being experiments fear, hate, hope, and love ! But one can understand that it really matters only when he looked into the eyes of someone dying, saying I love and I'll never forget ! Only then, everybody's become the same, because all that remains are deep feelings !
